BLOSSOMS, proudly serving the Metro Detroit area for more than 25 years.

Our founding company Silk and Morgan began with the two owners providing flowers for weddings, and social parties for discerning Detroiters. As the pair became in great demand, the company grew and added numerous employees and several retail stores named BLOSSOMS. Now consolidated to one great location in Birmingham Michigan, BLOSSOMS employs a staff of 30. Always an innovator, BLOSSOMS was the first in the Detroit area to feature "garden style" arrangements in clear glass vases, now a classic. BLOSSOMS, voted "BEST FLORIST’ numerous times over the years by newspapers and magazines. We are proud of this and work hard at bringing the best varieties and colors of flowers from growers all over the world. At BLOSSOMS, our goal is to make the pleasure of flowers accessible... displayed openly, not in coolers, a treat for the senses. We believe flowers look best informally, as they would appear in your garden. We’ll inspire your imagination with helpful suggestions and fresh ways to use flowers. Our Special Event division continues to be recognized as a leader. We provide beautiful flowers and décor for weddings, social parties, and corporate events. BLOSSOMS is on the recommended list of the areas best hotels and clubs. BLOSSOMS wedding bouquets were recently featured in Metro Detroit Bride and Hour magazine as well as Oprah’s Best Weddings. We have provided flowers for celebrity clients including Martha Stewart, Madonna, Grant Hill, Barry Sanders and even the Pope.

Delivery charges vary from $10.95 for a local Birmingham delivery to $22.95 for distant city deliveries.

Minimum Purchase criteria must be met to be eligible for delivery (amount excludes delivery charge). $50.00 For local Birmingham delivery up to $100.00 for distant city deliveries

Orders must be received before 12:00 noon to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

Delivery times are generally 9-5pm- extended at holidays.

Our flowers are boxed and beautifully wrapped in clear cellophane imprinted with the BLOSSOMS name and finished with a complimentary ribbon bow. Care instructions are included.

We will do our best to accommodate specific time deliveries for an additional charge. Please call our shop directly.

If recipient is not home, we attempt to leave the package with a neighbor and tag the door telling where the package has been left. (we thank the neighbor with a coupon for a free flower in our shop) Flowers can occasionally be left in a protected area if no one is home weather permitting. Please indicate if you DO NOT want the flowers left if not home. If we are unable to deliver our drivers tag the door with a message to call our shop AND leave a phone message. We will redeliver fresh flowers when contact is made.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Due to heightened security, some office buildings require delivery to a central location. Deliveries to Beaumont Hospital are received and delivered by volunteers in the flower room the time of delivery to the room is not in our control. We do not deliver directly to hospital rooms. Funeral flowers are delivered to a designated flower room and placed by the funeral director. We have no control where and when flowers are placed at the funeral home.

We will be happy to accept you’re out of town and international orders. We are unable to accept these orders online. Allow 48 hours for international delivery.

         

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your arrangement due to availability of certain flowers. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. In single- flower arrangements, such as an all rose or all orchid arrangement, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.
